Terms & Conditions

These terms and conditions apply to the purchase of goods by you [the Customer] We are Yvonne Rathbone and Ann Francis, trading as ABBEYCRAFTS of Ardival, Caithness KW12 6XA, with the email [email protected], telephone 01847831635 [the Supplier]

These are the terms on which we sell all Goods to you. By ordering any Goods, you agree to bound by these Terms and Conditions.

Interpretation
Goods means the goods advertised on the Website that we supply to you of the number and description as set out in the Order.
Order means the Customer’s order for the Goods from the Supplier as submitted following the step by step process set out on the Website.
Website means our website www.abbeycrafts.org.uk on which the Goods are advertised.

GOODS
The description of the Goods is as set out in the Website or any other form of advertising we use including social media. Any description is for illustrative purposes only and there may be small discrepancies in shading, colour, size of the Goods supplied. Lighting of Goods to photograph could also cause slight shading discrepancies. These are understood.
All Goods that appear on the Website are subject to availability. The majority of Goods will be made to order. We aim to make and dispatch Goods within seven days of an Order being placed and paid for.
In the case of Goods made to your special requirements, it is your responsibility to ensure that any information or specifications you provide is accurate. Specific bespoke commissions may take up to 10 days to make and dispatch. We will discuss this with you throughout the design process via email.
The Order process is set out on the Website. Each step allows you to check and amend any errors before submitting the Order. It is your responsibility to check that you have used the ordering process correctly.
A Contract will be formed for the sale of Goods ordered only when you receive an email form us confirming the Order [Order Confirmation] By placing the Order you agree to us giving you conformation of the Contract via email with all information in it. We retain and use all information strictly under our Privacy Policy.
Any quotation we give is valid for a maximum of 28 days from the date given.
The price of the Goods and delivery charges are set out on the Website. The price for bespoke commissions will be discussed between you and us and agreed prior to placing an order. The details will be confirmed via email.

Delivery
Goods will be posted via Royal Mail 2nd class at a flat rate of £4.50 per parcel. This includes postage and cost of packaging. We will deliver the Goods, to the delivery location you specify by the time or within the agreed time. However, we can not take responsibility for delays caused by postal disputes or issues that Royal Mail may have, these being outside our control. We will notify you if we are aware of any issues. Risk of damage to, or loss of, any Goods will pass to you when the Goods are delivered to you.

Cancellations and Returns
If you wish to cancel an order you have the right to do so within 14 days. However, this right does not apply for Goods that are made to your specifications or are clearly personalised. We will endeavour to resolve issues in any way we can and ask you to contact us immediately of any issue or concern.
We can not accept returns for any goods that have been used in any way. All returned goods must be in a re saleable condition. We accept full responsibility if goods arrived damaged and in that case upon notification with photographic proof, a full refund will be given or replacement goods sent which ever, you require.
You have a period of 14 days in which to return any item you are not happy with. Requests for this can be made via our contact page; you will need to specify details of the Order and dates. We aim to avoid any dispute or issue and will work closely with you to ensure that they do not arise. If you do decide to return a non faulty item then, you are responsible for the return costs. Any reimbursements due will be made after receipt of the goods and within a five day period.

Privacy
Your privacy is important to us. We respect your privacy and comply with the General Data Protection Regulation with regard to your personal information. These Terms and Conditions should be read alongside, and are in addition to our Privacy Policy.
